Cynthia Westmoreland left the state of Virginia in a hurry. Her fiancé, Chester Van Der Clair, was hopefully very dead. She was supposed to be sad, devastated and in mourning, but instead, Cynthia got herself onto the first wagon train heading west, leaving Chester lying in a pool of his own blood.
