Lucy goes to stay at her Granny’s house and has a wonderful adventure. She chases after a bird that has stolen a ring and clambers up a strange tree after it. The unusual tree is The Pocket-Handkerchief Tree and it is the entrance to a magical world. Lucy meets Mrs Hoot, a shopkeeper and an owl!
