Peter Knowles is a Glasgow solicitor. Both Peter and his wife Ellen are partners in their own firm. When the Assistant Chief Constable Hugh McDermott gets them involved investigating a sex trafficking, rape and murder investigation things turn nasty with horrific consequences for all concerned.
